OUR CLUB

The Gunn Zero Robotics team aims to teach and foster a love for programming and physics through teamwork and a strong sense of community. Newly introduced to Gunn High School this year, we hope to bring people to a place where they can come to learn and express their enthusiasm for programming. We meet every other Thursday in J-8, but most of our work is done through flexible online work sessions.

WHAT IS ZERO ROBOTICS?

Zero Robotics is an annual robotics programming competition sponsored and run by MIT. Students work together to program SPHERES (Synchronized Position Hold Engage and Reorient Experimental Satellites) that compete against rival SPHERES programmed by other teams in the International Space Station. The winning team is the one that scores the most points in 180 seconds. Each year presents a unique and exciting challenge, so there is always something new to try.
